Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

VCA Olympiad in Mission Viejo is looking for an experienced and credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time. Our primary care practice located near beautiful Lake Mission Viejo provides veterinary care to our our wonderful community. Our services include wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.

We are looking for qualified candidates to support our wonderful DVM team. Duties may include:

Animal Restraint

Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections

Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids

Venipuncture and IV Catheterization

Technician Appointments

Filling Prescriptions

Diagnostic Radiographs

Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring

Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs

Patient Recovery

Monitoring Hospitalized Patients

Dosage Calculation & Pharmacology knowledge

Client Communication

The pay range for this position ranges from $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience, certification, etc. We offer 8-hour shifts. Saturday shift may be required.
