Requirements

The Role

We're seeking a passionate Senior Machine Learning Platform Engineer with a specific focus on MLOps and infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of ML model training pipeline and runtime inference at scale. As part of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge ML infrastructure to train and serve models at scale, enabling our ML engineers to use the latest techniques in their models to improve relevancy and boost revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ML engineers to understand their requirements and identify improvements to our infrastructure.
• Design and implement core ML infrastructure components like Feature Store, Model serving platform and distributed training pipelines.
• Make trade-off decisions around scalability, development flexibility and cost.
• Keep up-to-date with new tools, tech stacks, third-party solutions and industry trends in ML.
• Collaborate with leadership to uplevel the ML tech stack and improve the performance of the overall ML system

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of distributed systems, horizontal scaling, caching, microservice architecture and robust system design.
• Experience with common components of a recommender systems: retrieval, ranking, embeddings
• Prior experience working through the entire lifecycle of ML model: development, training, deployment, experimentation, inference, optimization.
• Prior experience in AWS tech-stack, Docker and Kubernetes
• Basic experience with deep learning tech-stack: TensorFlow and Python
• Basic understanding of ML models fundamentals
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Prior experience building AI infrastructure components like Feature store, training pipeline, model serving
• Experience in Go language
• Prior experience in Ads recommendations domain
