The Patient Accounting Representative staffs the Cashier's Office, provides customer service to patients at the window, accepts deposits from various business locations, prepares daily deposits, completes assigned Epic work queues, posts payments to patient accounts and performs other tasks to support the goals of the Patient Financial Services cash posting function.

Assists the manager in all daily activities associated with the payment posting function for Patient Financial Services.  Responsibilities include providing customer service to patients at the window, accepting deposits from various business locations, preparing daily deposits, completing assigned Epic work queues, posting payments to patient accounts and performing other tasks to support the goals of the Patient Financial Services cash posting function. 

High School Diploma or GED.  Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years cash handling or Revenue Cycle experience.
