About the role

Our Mission

Healthcare should work for patients, but it doesn’t. In their time of need, they call down outdated insurance directories. Then wait on hold. Then wait weeks for the privilege of a visit. Then wait in a room solely designed for waiting. Then wait for a surprise bill. In any other consumer industry, the companies delivering such a poor customer experience would not survive. But in healthcare, patients lack market power. Which means they are expected to accept the unacceptable.

Zocdoc’s mission is to give power to the patient. To do that, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care in all 50 states, across +200 specialties and +12k insurance plans. By giving patients the ability to see and choose, we give them power. In doing so, we can make healthcare work like every other consumer sector, where businesses compete for customers, not the other way around. In time, this will drive quality up and prices down.

We’re 17 years old and the leader in our space, but we are still just getting started. If you like solving important, complex problems alongside deeply thoughtful, driven, and collaborative teammates, read on.

Your Impact on our Mission

We’re building a world class Marketing team at Zocdoc -- and we’re growing fast! As a Marketing Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating new marketing programs for our Enterprise business, helping us define strategy, execute campaigns, and measure impact. The ideal candidate is both experienced marketing to enterprise audiences and enthusiastic about building successful programs from the ground up. Reporting to the head of Provider Marketing, this role will collaborate closely with partners in Sales and Product Marketing to align on the right goals and tactics, set up baseline tracking/measurement, test various approaches (which may include both 1:many and ABM-style campaigns) and run the daily operations of the marketing program as it grows. It’s a great opportunity for a hands-on marketer to make a big impact on a key and highly visible part of the business.

You’ll enjoy this role if you are...

  • Curious about trying new things, challenging assumptions, and solving puzzles in new ways
  • Excited by the challenge of building an all-new program and helping shape new processes, campaigns and strategies
  • Able to see the big picture and translate high-level strategy into operational tactics
  • Highly collaborative and used to working with various team dynamics across Sales, Marketing, Data, Creative, etc.
  • Serious about your work, but not about yourself.  Let’s face it - the way this last year went, you kind of need a sense of humor

Your day to day is...

  • Developing and executing an end-to-end ABM strategy targeting key decision-makers and influencers to drive revenue at high-value accounts in collaboration with sales and marketing leadership
  • Working closely with the sales team and drive alignment to identify target accounts, develop account plans, and align on key objectives and KPIs
  • Building and managing multi-channel ABM campaigns, including email, content marketing, events, direct mail, and digital advertising, and more
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (including Creative, Content, Email Marketing, and Product Marketing) to deliver campaign assets
  • Creating personalized account-specific messaging and content tailored to different personas and buying stages
  • Establishing measurable marketing outcomes, baseline metrics, tracking processes and reporting cadences
  • Leveraging marketing technologies (e.g., Demandbase, Marketo, Salesforce) to track, measure, and optimize ABM campaign performance
  • Conducting regular performance reviews of ABM initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Stay updated on ABM trends and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the table

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • 7+ years of experience managing enterprise marketing campaigns (experience with healthcare industry a plus)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and account-based selling methodologies
  • Proficiency with ABM tools (Demandbase) and marketing platforms (Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Proven ability to create and execute campaigns that influence pipeline and revenue
  • Exceptional communication (verbally and written), project management, and collaboration skills
  • Strong operational and analytical skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance and ROI
  • The ability to manage multiple projects
