Job Description

Senior Manager PMO

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our organization as a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our program management team to high execution standards on technology and operational programs. You will also use your skills to program-manage your programs. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in program management, as well as proven expertise in applying change management best practices.

What you get to do in this role:

Program Management Leadership

·      Lead and manage a team of senior program managers responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex projects and initiatives.

·      Work on your own programs to continuously learn and keep your program management skills sharp.

·      Set clear standards for the program manager role and continue to upskill and expand expertise across the team.

·      Provide guidance and support to program managers to ensure the quality of deliverables, successful project outcomes, and value realization.

·      Elevate the PMO as a practice with centralization, standardization, and ease of engagement for stakeholders.

·      Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and engagement.

Change Management Strategy

·      Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy that assesses the capacity to absorb change and standardizes successful adoption of initiatives such as process improvements, technology implementations, and cultural transformations.

Cross-functional Collaboration

·      Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and other stakeholders to align program management activities with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

·      Foster strong relationships with internal teams to ensure effective coordination and integration of program management efforts.

·      Democratize program management methodologies, providing guidance and scale to all teams.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  Proven experience (10+ years) driving complex projects and initiatives from initiation to delivery.

·      Demonstrated expertise in change management methodologies, with a track record of successfully implementing change initiatives in large organizations.

·      Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and increase individual and team know-how.

·      Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret data and tell a story in a consumable way.

·      Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) and change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR,).
