Regional Operations & Data Analyst is primarily responsible for providing operational and administrative data-driven support to management and other staff members within a Cross region.
Duties of a Regional Operations & Data Analyst include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the Regional VP - Operations to develop and refine reports and dashboards for key business metrics (e.g., production, sales, pipeline, policy expiration).
- Manage, update, and validate large sets of data from multiple platforms in Microsoft Excel and preferably Power BI.
- Assist with invoicing and financial reconciliation tasks; analyze discrepancies and support resolution through data validation.
- Maintain and enhance reports related to book of business production, revenue performance, and account receivables.
- Support policy processing tasks where relevant data inputs are required or need verification.
- Manage and update document libraries, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across shared platforms.
- Support the preparation of presentations for internal teams and key accounts.
- Process employee expense reports and coordinate internal scheduling needs (meetings, reviews, and project planning).
- Contribute to special projects involving operational process improvement, systems integration, and data optimization.
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 1–3 years of professional experience in an operations, finance, or data analytics role (insurance industry experience a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts).
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Experience with insurance agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
