The Opportunity  

This position supports our Nutrition business commercial quality systems within the Americans (US, Canada and LATAM) and can be based in Chicago, IL Or Columbus, OH. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, and Glucerna® – to help them get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest lives. 

What You'll Do

The Director, Commercial QA Americas will oversee quality systems for 20+ countries in the US, Canada and LATAM regions.  This position is the primary divisional contact for all product actions and leads all on market evaluations and post release commercial product events for the Americas.

What You'll Work On

• Responsible for quality system ownership and execution in 20+ countries in LATAM, US and Canada.

• Leads cross functional teams of all disciplines when signals may lead to safety or compliance concerns for product that has been distributed.

• Engages FDA, CFIA and LATAM Ministry of Health contacts when concerns are raised.

• Leads written agency responses to questions / concerns.

• Leads affiliate audits from Ministry of Health and other outside agencies.

• Strong executive presence, able to communicate complex issues in understandable language.

• Leads team of ~35 quality professionals across ~15 countries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in quality, program management, engagement with external agencies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage stakeholders at various level across a matrixed organization; demonstrated executive presence.  

• Collaborative leadership with the ability to bring various levels together to drive information sharing and enable quick decision making/ sense of urgency.

     

The base pay for this position is

$147,300.00 – $294,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
