The candidate will drive the post-silicon phase of product development from first silicon bring-up, through correlation, characterization, qualification, release to manufacturing and throughout the life cycle of the product. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in amplifiers, analog circuits, reliability testing, fab process, test engineering and bench validation.</p><p></p><p><b>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Create and execute test plans against a set of product requirements and specifications.</li><li>Oversee qualification testing of new product and package technologies per Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) standards such as High Temp Operating Life (HTOL), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Latch-Up, Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST), Biased High Accelerated Stress Test (BHAST), Preconditioning and Solder-Heat Resistance testing, High Temp Storage, and Temperature Cycle testing reliability tests.</li><li>Analyze manufacturing statistics to perform correlation analysis between fab process and yield. Oversee and interpret failure analysis of yield/process issues utilizing common de-processing techniques, electron microscopy, energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, focused ion beam and standard failure analysis methods.</li><li>Review and implement statistical process controls to identify process deviations involving tool discrepancies. Collaborate with fab process engineers to identify root cause and implement fixes to resolve performance and/or yield issues.</li><li>Perform rigorous characterization data analysis using statistical methodologies for silicon characterization. Monitor manufacturing (sort, assembly, test) yields versus expected yield, and implement yield improvement and cost reduction solutions in production.</li><li>Integrate the activities of global cross-functional teams including Test Engineering, Applications, Design, Design Verification, Project Management, Manufacturing and Marketing teams to develop products from design through release and high-volume production.</li></ul><p><span>•    </span> Demonstrate solid oral, written, and presentation communication skills to efficiently communicate across a global organization where success is highly dependent on collaboration and effective communication</p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>BS or MS degree in EE or ECE or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)</li><li>5+ years of experience as a Product Engineer or related discipline</li><li>Proven track record of leadership and mentorship of young engineers</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams spanning multiple time zones.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and an understanding of statistical analysis.  Ability to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ab
