Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, 1-hour lunch break (preferred afternoon)

Job Description

As a Bilingual Virtual Assistant, you’ll be the linchpin in our client’s chiropractic practice, bridging the communication gap between Spanish and English-speaking patients, attorneys, and healthcare providers. This role offers a unique blend of healthcare administration and customer service, allowing you to utilize your language skills while gaining valuable experience in the medical field. You’ll manage a diverse range of tasks, from handling phone calls and scheduling appointments to preparing crucial medical documentation. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and wants to play a vital role in patients’ recovery journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls in both Spanish and English, providing exceptional customer service to patients and attorneys
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using the practice’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Efficiently scan and attach documents to patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date electronic records
  • Prepare and organize comprehensive medical records for attorneys and pain management specialists
  • Perform detailed data entry tasks, including inputting patient information and exam details with high accuracy
  • Collaborate remotely with the in-house team, including the office manager and chiropractors, to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Assist in coordinating patient care, including follow-ups and referrals to other specialists when needed
  • Handle sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism


Requirements


  • Native-level fluency in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, attorneys, and healthcare professionals
  • Proficiency in using computers and aptitude for quickly learning new software systems, particularly EMR and scheduling software
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and document management
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in healthcare administration or customer service is preferred but not required
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional work environment for remote work
  • Flexibility to occasionally extend working hours to meet practice needs
  • Passion for helping others and contributing to patient care and recovery
