Built on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking EHS Safety Engineering Intern to join our team and support our continued growth. This position reports to the Director of Environmental, Health & Safety and will work in the Katy, Texas office.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with reviewing and updating Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures for molding machines and auxiliary equipment, focusing on energy isolation verification, procedural clarity, and documentation standardization to support safe maintenance and operations.
Project Measurables
- Percentage of molding machines and auxiliary equipment reviewed and documented
- Number of LOTO procedures updated, standardized, and approved
- Number of procedural gaps or inconsistencies identified and corrected
- Completion of equipment verification walkthroughs with Maintenance and EHS
- On-time completion of project milestones and final deliverables

- Standardized, accurate Lockout Tagout procedures across molding and auxiliary equipment
- Improved clarity and usability of procedures for maintenance and service tasks
- Stronger alignment between EHS, Engineering, and Maintenance practices

General Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing and updating Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures for molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Participate in equipment walkthroughs with EHS, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify energy sources and isolation points
- Support the standardization and organization of LOTO documentation and templates
- Verify procedure accuracy through field validation and feedback from Maintenance and Operations
- Document findings, gaps, and improvement opportunities related to energy control procedures
- Support EHS with compliance activities, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and track project progress against defined milestones
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams while working in a manufacturing environment
