Provides ongoing systems administration support including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network, hardware, software, applications and connectivity components. Provides technical support and advises on the use of scripting tools, database, systems and servers. Provides support to address availability and reliability issues on various systems (that is, Linux, Unix and Windows) across multiple locations. Operational responsibilities include remediation of daily incident tickets, system compliance, system run enhancement, testing, staging, policy / procedure enhancement, customer contact coordination and operational recommendations.
- Performs hardware and software installation and maintenance for an assigned organization, location or line of business.
- Administers development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging and debugging problems.
- Installs, removes and upgrades software packages on test, development and production servers.
- Troubleshoots systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies and systemic issues.
- Provides systems evaluation and operational reports.
- Maintains required compliance reports and documentation.
- Supports team and cross-functional projects within defined area of responsibility.
- Impacts the quality of own work and that of the team.
- Works as a fully competent team member.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Network and Systems Administration.
- Linux, Oracle and Windows experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hours Mon-Fri - Some flexibility around evening support
- Weekend support: Flexibility regarding weekend support, production changes
- Linux, Oracle and Windows experience highly preferred
- Linux and Windows scripting experience highly preferred
- ATM software/hardware experience highly preferred
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies and relevant experience.
