Business Systems Analyst

CooperVision Inc. seeks a Business Systems Analyst in West Henrietta, NY to collect and document User / Business processes and requirements for solutions. Collaborate with the local operations teams to document Functional and Systematic process flows. Evaluate local and global system development proposals and provide analysis to local management on likely impacts. Lead local projects for software changes and system configuration changes. Plan and lead testing, implementation, training, support, and documentation activities for local projects. Assist developers with functional specifications and walkthroughs. Serve as a local systems representative and subject matter expert for larger global projects. Support the implementation of global systems for local sites. Prepare detailed testing scripts based on final design documents. Assemble and document all test validation results using appropriate company methodology and systems. Design and prepares reports using approved systems tools. Prepares data to perform analysis of system behavior and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests.  The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field of study, and 3 years of experience in logistics IT including WMS, WCS, Interfaces to ERP systems and automation, IT literacy concepts and terminology, project management experience, and implementing project plans.
