Responsibilities

- General ledger preparation, reconciliation and transactional level review, financial reporting for review for tribal government clients - Prepare and finalize month end close - Prepare and/or review workpapers and schedules to ensure audit readiness - Provide onsite services as requested by client - Participate in cross utilization of teams and/or lead software implementations, conversions and setups as assigned - Completion and/or review of debt, assets, gaming revenue, grant workpapers - Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their personnel - Obtain client expectations from management team and develop plan to meet client expectations - Act as a Peer Advisor and mentor for new staff and provide valuable feedback

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required - 3+ years of experience in public accounting/auditing (private accounting if outsourced) preferred - Experience working with Tribal government or casino enterprises preferred - Experience with Sage Intacct and MIB is preferred - This role will require travel to client sites 15%-20%

The estimated base pay range for this role is $66,000 to $109,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.    Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.    Wipfli cares about our associates and offers a variety of benefits to support their well-being.
