Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for various HR functions and will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day HR operations, fostering positive employee relations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Facilitate positive and proactive front-line employee customer service, resolving questions and concerns to provide employees with requested information on policy, process, etc.
- Audit and review payroll data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all information is consistent with company policies, the Collective Bargaining Agreements, and regulatory requirements
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner, working closely with relevant departments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, databases and reports, analyze data and trends to support in decision making and strategic initiatives
- Maintain working knowledge of HR legal requirements related to day-to-day operations, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Facilitate trainings, while assisting with training development programs and employee engagement activities
- Resolve ad hoc research and/or special projects, as needed
- Assist with mediation of ad hoc HQ employee relations issues
Requirements
- 2 years Human Resources Experience, manufacturing industry and unionized experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, I-O Psychology, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems; Workday and Kronos experience preferred
- Results-Driven attitude focused on execution & continuous improvement
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust at all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Meticulous attention to detail require
Compensation: $68,000 - $72,000
Open & Closing Dates: 2/20/2025 – 3/31/2025
