SmileMakers General Stocker

Overview

As our General Stocker, you will be responsible for replenishing primary locations quickly and efficiently in order to facilitate the shipping of all customer orders

Detailed Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

Essential Functions

 

Use replenishment reports to accurately stock primary locations on a daily basis

Accurately move product from bulk storage to primary locations both physically and on product movement sheets for inventory control

Operate stock picker or other equipment in proper and safe manner

Learn and understand the products in assigned section and streamline replenishment process

Aid and assist stocking lead in all other stocking functions

Support and adhere to SmileMakers mission and values statements

Abide by all policies and procedures of SmileMakers and Oriental Trading Company

Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors

Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

 

Here’s what you need to join the fun:

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Self-motivated and able to prioritize
• Able to operate forklift and stock picker
• Needs to be comfortable with heights up to 30 ft.
• General reading and writing
• Some general computer skills

 

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience

• Less than 1 year work related experience

 

Other Qualifications

• The ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift
• The ability to occasionally move or lift up to 35-70 pounds
• Ability to work in elevated work areas up to 28 feet high
