The Director of Food & Beverage is the community’s guiding force behind an exceptional dining experience—the leader who ensures meals are memorable, service is seamless, and no one ever has to ask, “What is this supposed to be?” This role provides big-picture direction and daily oversight to keep every dining experience running smoother than freshly whipped butter.

Working closely with the Executive Chef, the Director leads the charge in shaping menu innovation, elevating service standards, and ensuring our dining venues reflect the quality and hospitality our residents deserve. They manage everything from kitchen operations and dining room flow to budgets, compliance, menu development, and staff growth—essentially juggling flaming spatulas without letting anything hit the floor.

The Director also champions a strong focus on health and wellness, ensuring menus offer nutrient-forward, balanced choices that support the wellbeing of residents across all levels of care. By mirroring modern restaurant trends—fresh, seasonal ingredients; bold, clean flavors; customizable options; and beautiful presentation—they help transform everyday meals into experiences worth looking forward to.

This leadership extends across all four of our restaurants, as well as Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Health Center dining, bringing consistency, dignity, and enjoyment to residents campus-wide.

In a nutshell, this role sets the tone for a dining culture built on excellence, teamwork, innovation, and genuine care—seasoned with just enough humor to keep the soufflés (and the staff) from collapsing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School graduate required with certification as required by state regulation. College degree preferred.
2. A minimum of three years experience in the administration of food services systems.
3. Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, and be tolerant of residents, patients, visitors, families, peers, subordinates, supervisor and outside contacts.
