JOB SUMMARY
At our outpatient Specialty Pharmacy, located at Cancer Care Outpatient Building, 6202 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, TX 75390, we are seeking a dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Technician.

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you will assist with prescription processing and fulfillment, prior authorizations and copay assistance, specialty medication coordination and inventory control.  You will also engage directly with our cancer patients offering empathetic communication and support and ensure timely, accurate medication delivery or pick-up.  Your compassion and precision will help deliver hope and healing.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

• Education
  High School Diploma or equivalent 
   

• Experience
  1 year of experience as retail pharmacy technician or equivalent is required 
   

• Licenses and Certifications
  (PHARM INT) PHARMACY INTERN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Registered Technician or Pharmacist Intern and 
  (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification with course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC). 
   

Preferred

• Experience
  1 year specialty pharmacy experience 
   

• Licenses and Certifications
  (PTCB-CPHT) CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN National certification with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
