We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Senior Principal Reporting and Analytics Leader. The Reporting & Analytics Lead will partner with global data stewards to establish and grow a best-in-class holistic reporting and analytics focus within the IT organization.  Lead roadmap development and execution for SAP Hana Cloud Platform & DataSphere, Analytics, Reporting & processes to improve the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data.  Oversee the daily performance of tools & processes to maintain business user satisfaction, mainly related to data accuracy, policy and processes, communications and change management. Provide strategic inputs and direction in developing and managing an excellent master data management function aligned with business strategy.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Hana Cloud Platform and SAP Datasphere.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the evolution of reporting and analytics capabilities with business partners.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in reporting and analytics.
• Architect and optimize data models to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity.
• Configure & maintain SAP Datasphere using requirements and inputs from IT architects, key business analytic users, as well as IT analysts.
• Support, assist, and train users on new modified system configurations highlighting the impact on business processes.
• Work closely with leaders in both IT & the business to ensure the release of high-quality solutions
• Comply with regulatory and change control requirements and processes.
• Maintain IT Business system integrity and application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates
• Demonstrate good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems.
• Mentor and guide a team of analysts and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP experience
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in large-scale Data and analytics organizations with experience providing SAP Analytics technologies with a focus on S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics, Hana Cloud Platform, HANA XS applications.
• Experience working with S/4 HANA CDS views/CDS Report/CDS APIs and FIORI
• Proven experience as a senior architect in reporting and analytics, preferably with expertise in SAP Hana Cloud Platform and SAP DataSphere.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence and analytics concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership experience in guiding and developing a high-performing team.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and how to design end-to-end solutions utilizing them.
• Experience working with business end users, gathering requirements, and building detailed functional design specifications, testing & coordinating delivery of features and functionality.
• Familiarity with agile DevOps processes
• Should contribute to team-building measures like Knowledge Management & Mentoring
• Excellent verbal/written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• Capability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
