As a Facilities Manager for our Los Angeles + Los Altos location, you will be a proactive data driven individual with the ability to juggle multiple activities and projects. You will also provide support to the other CSI Gamete locations throughout the U.S., as needed. This position is full-time, on-site based out of Los Angeles and estimated 15% domestic travel, as needed.

  • Establish an EHS and facilities culture, monitor and maintain facilities systems and procedures to comply with regulatory, quality and EHS policies. Implement and lead facilities internal audits.
  • Responsible to support EHS initiatives and supervise technicians and contractors to make sure all EHS requirements are complying. 
  • Identify and administrate all site contractor’s needs, for facilities, EHS, construction, equipment, security, housekeeping, as well as day to day handling of the facility needs
  • Responsible for addressing safety issues and helps maintain local legal compliance in the local facilities including procedures for emergency management.
  • Continual review of facilities and building systems for equipment capacity and reliability. Lead in the system upgrading and/or improvement projects including validation requirements.
  • Estimates and coordinates resources needed (materials, budget, time and people) to accomplish assigned individual tasks, e.g. coordinates work with technicians and associate engineers; prepares contingency plans and budget for assignments.
  • Lead the development of preventive maintenance program to maintain and improve all facilities and building systems reliability, as well as establish and implement preventive and predictive maintenance. 
  • Identify and administrate all site contractor’s needs, for facilities, EHS, construction, equipment, security, housekeeping, as well as day to day handling of the facility needs with the administration. 
  • Participate in annual budgeting and ensure spending meets objectives.
  • Provide site coverage for all aspects of maintenance requirements, including partnering with key suppliers and contractors to ensure building maintenance meets budgeted performance. 
  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control 
  • Support the management of the electronic Maintenance System and Building Management System 
  • Identify and resolve chronic and major issues that are affecting building environmental conditions or operation, especially when resolutions of such issues require technical solutions. 
  • Coordinate external resources according to CooperSurgical's SOP's in the most timely, cost effective and efficient manner. 
  • Investigate building complaints and provide resolution. Facilitate problem solving utilizing a hands-on approach and that equipment and facility are correctly operating. 
  • Develop and/or update maintenance procedures for Facilities equipment and programs such as cleaning, pest control, safety, etc. 
  • Develop and/or update schedules for all mechanical operational equipment and process control assets in conjunction with manufacturing and quality engineers. Ensure that processes and procedures comply with corporate, and local regulations. 
  • Coordinates and monitors activities/projects.
  • Manages time and prioritization of tasks. 
  • Handles multiple deadlines, changing circumstances, completing timelines. 
  • Shares information with others to drive work progress.

  • Study, design and maintain systems into the facility, complete routinary facility inspections to verify

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field 
  • 3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing environment preferred from medical related industries an
