Job Description
EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL, the largest potable water-testing laboratory in the US, has a Project Manager opening at our Pomona Laboratory.
The Project Manager will work with Account Managers (Sales), other Project Managers, and the Laboratory Director to communicate client expectations, and data or quality concerns. They are accountable for coordinating and managing clients’ projects through all phases of laboratory operations, including project set-up and maintenance, login review, communication of analytical issues, client account maintenance, reporting, invoicing, bottle orders, client pickups, and identification of work share facilities. The Project Manager role fosters and develops client relationships in support of the laboratory mission.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
- Job reports and invoices completed each day
- Job reviews completed within 24 hours of login
- Timely and Proactive client communications
- Maintains and takes ownership of client assignments
- Completes daily reporting and invoicing of jobs for assigned clients
- Oversees correct and complete project set ups, login reviews and kit orders for assigned clients with assistance from a support staff
- Provides timely and professional communication to clients in written/verbal form or in person
- Participates in professional technical training, conferences and in-person client meetings as needed
- Adheres to all company policies regarding Quality Assurance & Control, Ethics and Health & Safety
- Displays an enthusiastic demeanor to support a positive work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum BS degree and 3+ years of experience in a laboratory or other science field
- Basic technical understanding of many aspects of the laboratory, regulatory requirements, and specific method requirements.
- Basic understanding of the laboratory business and inter-departmental relationships
- Demonstrated judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to details and good documentation skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Must have computer (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and office related skills·
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00pm some weekends. This is an Exempt role.
The salary range for this position is $64,480-$85,000 annually (DOE)
This position is required to be onsite. It is not a remote position.
