What You Will Do
Pratt & Whitney Compression Systems Engineering is seeking a goal oriented, detail-focused project engineer to work for the Engineering Support To Operations "ESTO organization as a Project Engineer intern, who's role and responsibility include is to support engineering tasks planning, communication, monitor task progression to completion.
ESTO is a organization built to provide focused engineering support to the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) houses and Assembly Product Delivery Centers (PDC's) facilitating production of quality engines, delivered in a timely fashion to our customers.
This role based in Connecticut with expectations to have shared time between our 2 Manufacturing facilities at 400 Main St East Hartford, CT and 400 Aircraft Rd Middletown Connecticut. In this role you'll be supporting the Static (non-rotating) Hardware for Support to Operations Organization.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Participate / Support in review and assessment of manufactured hardware.
- Participate in review and assessment of manufactured hardware.
- Work closely within the Integrated Product Team to support hardware delivery center and field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.
- Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate and execute on engineering print changes for those initiatives.
- Coordinate evaluation and disposition of hardware and supplier requests for information.
- Have a basic working knowledge of 3D design software.
Qualifications You Must Have
Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
