The job is located in one of our locations, preferably within the same location as our production facilities, i.e. Kilpilahti, Porvoo; Maasvlakte, Rotterdam or Tuas, Singapore.<br/><br/></span><span>The Chief Engineering competence center is a team consisting of different engineering disciplines. The team is responsible for the standards and specifications which are applied in Neste. The tasks in the team include seeking of new technologies, developing and benchmarking the best practices and securing correct technical requirements within the strategic partnerships. <br/></span><span><br/></span><span>Besides working closely within the team, in your role you will collaborate with reliability, maintenance, operations and design engineers. You will also be responsible to secure efficient and transparent communication with the experts of your discipline within the company. Setting the requirements for the regarding safety, availability, maintainability and operations in collaboration with asset management, operation teams and design engineers via the specifications within Neste</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Supporting refineries as the leading specialist of electrical solutions in cooperation with the design engineers and site personnel</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Development and ownership of discipline technology best practices and benchmark them against the industry standards. </span></p> </li> </ul> <p><strong><span><br/>The best combination to succeed in this role<br/><br/></span></strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Relevant technical degree, e.g. electrical engineer or similar. Preferably B.Sc or higher.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>As a senior manager role the successful candidate should bring relevant 15+ years of industrial experience in electrical engineering or management. This can be from e.g. design, maintenance and/or operations.
