Provides input to specific technical and new building projects, participates in the team which ensures the adherence to the TAP processes, delivers the<span> technical assurance for </span>technology development work with technical consultancies, classification societies and other authorities in the industry strongly collaborating with shipyards, Site office teams, RCL operations and other in-house sources.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Participates the development of the marine engineering related technologies with strong focus on the areas such as energy efficiency, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and related R &amp; D work.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span><span>Essential Duties and <span>Responsibilities:</span></span></span></span></b></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participates on the TAP processes with the new build site offices. Establishes and maintains regular collaboration with the team members in Europe, and further with the fleet and operation in all marine engineering technology related items as needed.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Organizes and/or participates the reviews for technology development work with current and potential new shipyards, makers and systems designers and marine operations.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Assists in organizing and participates various FMECA, HAZIP/HAZOP or similar risk assessment studies and machinery feasibility studies with Site office teams.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participate and organize facilitation of various risk assessment and feasibility studies as required.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participate in development of the guidelines for best practices for various equipment and technical design solutions for company’s project portfolio based on the RCAs and lessons learned from the earlier projects.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participates in teams which ensure that all innovations and lessons learned from existing fleet will be implemented on future new build projects.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Applies relevant rules and regulations in the development of cruise ship design and building, including evaluation and implementation of new technology.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participates in the reporting of reviews, NTQ, etc. related to all technical systems and essential components.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Supports and works alongside with the inspection team to participating necessary factory acceptance test (FAT) during the building process. Participate testing processes for quay and sea trial procedures.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participates in reviews related to new build approval processes such as makers and design approvals.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participates in gathering the information from the Site office team on various technical challenges and opportunities.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Participates in reviews related to vessel’s stability, watertight integrity, SRtP etc. design</span></span></span></span></span></li> </ul> <h1><span><span><span>Key skills &amp; experience <span>required:</span></span></span></span></h1> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Extensive experience <span>(&gt; 5-10 years) </span>of marine engineering technologies, especially from the own field of <span>expertise.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Good ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Capable to analyz
