Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

Students work with Biology Department Faculty to prepare for labs. Students also assist Faculty and students during lab sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Help prepare lab session materials  

Assist students during lab sessions

Clean and organize lab 

Correct lab manuals/classroom work

Safely dispose of lab waste using autoclave  

 

 

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 

 

Successful completion of the lab student is assisting 

Dependable and punctual

Experience with lab solution/reagent making  

Experience with a diverse array of lab equipment

Able to work with minimal supervision    

Knowledge of lab safety procedures
