Job Summary:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Payment Poster to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of hands-on experience in medical payment posting and reconciliation. You should have a deep understanding of insurance claims, EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), and payment adjustments, along with the ability to stay organized, self-directed, and deadline-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately post insurance and patient payments, as well as adjustments, in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Reconcile daily deposits and balances, ensuring all payment data aligns with billing policies.
• Research and resolve discrepancies, denials, or underpayments quickly and effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure all financial records are complete and compliant.
• Partner with billing and revenue cycle team members to streamline workflows and optimize collections.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of medical payment posting and reconciliation experience.
• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes, EOBs, and common billing adjustments.
• Familiarity with medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
