Location: Aachen, Germany or Maidenhead, UK
 

What the job looks like

  • Serving as main point of contact for international employees, assisting with tax, social security, immigration issues, and HR-related matters throughout the entire employee lifecycle. 
  • Advising and supporting new hires from abroad.
  • Responsible for handling all administrative tasks related to cross-border contracts and international assignments, including the calculation of international assignment packages and relocation offers.
  • Supporting in liaising with external tax/social security consultants, other related vendors, tax authorities, social security institutions, and internal payroll specialists.
  • Supporting in conducting regular assessments and reviews of mobility programs, optimizing processes for efficiency and employee satisfaction. 
  • Supporting in ensuring knowledge management within the teams to foster continuous improvement and information sharing.
  • Contributing to/taking over cross-functional international HR projects to enhance global mobility processes and strategies

 

What you’ll bring to the table

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience 
  • You have gained specific expertise in an international HR environment or relevant consulting practice. A focus in the field of Global Mobility and International Assignment Management would be beneficial.
  • Immigration law, social security and tax regulations as well basic understanding of special issues in international assignments
  • Fluently in English, German language skills is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally HR-Information Systems (SAP Successfactor)
  • Ability to work in a team and virtualized environment
