Cardiac Medical Observation Unit (CMO) is a newly renovated, 25 private room unit located on 6 North in the hospital. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to Observation and Medical level patients during their brief stay. We do specialize in the care of Cardiac patients pre and post procedure. We focus on our values of Team, Compassion, Excellence, and Purpose. We believe in servant leadership and encourage the growth and development of our team.

Qualifications
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
