Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. defense and Government engagements.

As a Senior Desktop Engineer, you’ll be in a highly skilled senior role with the industry leading technical expertise to support one or more Product Managers. You’ll have a deep end to end understanding of all technical aspects of the service and be the key integration point with other products/services. As the Senior Desktop Engineer for GPS, you’ll be responsible to ensure we’re delivering a best-in-class desktop solution to this service line.  You’ll need to ensure that the desktop solution for GPS meets the appropriate compliance levels required by the business using primarily MS solutions and services, with the support our compliance team.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Bridging service components on premise and cloud, and across vendors
  • Managing the technical dependencies across the different products and services
  • Implementing long-term product roadmaps, by working closely with the GCC Desktop Technical Lead
  • Providing on call support for major service outage resolutions
  • Actively maintaining technical skills and expertise while having an intimate understanding of vendor product roadmaps using NDAs etc
  • Directing and owning technical resolution of overall vulnerabilities and risks for the products
  • Travel to support change or planned project activities
