As a Product Manager in Chase Bank Omnichannel Getting Service and Customer Experience,  you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Bring an entrepreneurial and self-starter attitude to develop and maintain six quarter roadmaps and strategies that are aligned to customer pain points, business goals, and market needs 
  • Partner with Analytics, Customer Experience, and Employee Experience to provide thoughtful recommendations and understand/articulate potential benefits
  • Influence partners, build consensus, and work across various functional departments (e.g., agile products) through strong stakeholder management  
  • Act as a thought leader, presenting and discussing ideas with intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all levels of the organization 
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Act as a liaison between stakeholders to facilitate communication and alignment 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Customer-centric and is familiar or quickly becomes familiar with omnichannel pain points 
  • An excellent partner who leads through strong collaboration 
  • Data driven and analytical, while also being a creative thinker 
  • Constantly pushes boundaries of “what could be” to drive innovation 
  • Always focuses on the big picture, considering impacts outside their given initiatives
  • Focused on driving quantifiable business results 
  • Vigorous and thorough in their management of details 
  • Loves experimenting, learning, and taking calculated risks based on data

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Financial services and product delivery experience is a plus
  • Strong ability to deliver fast and easily navigate both complex and ambiguous environments 
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results without direct supervision over resources
  • Develops strong partnerships; recognized as a team player 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills with an excellent ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills for peer and executive audiences, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
