Position Overview:
The Express Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and selling additional needed services to customers. The Express Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer relations and service representative.

What You'll Do:
- Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner, and let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be serviced soon
- Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
- Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when the vehicle's work will be completed
- Obtain customer and vehicle data
- Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms
- Communicate the need for additional work when needed; explain the details to the customer, including the extra cost and time consideration, and document properly on rthe epair order
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments, and return phone messages promptly
- Advise customers of parts ordered and make an appointment to have them installed before the customer leaves
Additional Requirements:
- You have a minimum of one year of prior automotive experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
