The Department of Immunobiology is seeking a highly motivated applicant for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to be mentored by Dr. Silverman. This challenging position requires a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and drive for applicants interested in conducting evolutionary guided research into the molecular mechanisms of T-Cell activation and cell fate decisions.

For more information about working at the University of Arizona and relocations services, please Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct independent experiments and computational analysis, evaluate the data, and keep appropriate records of all research activities.
- Read the literature, participate in scientific discussions with other members of the lab, and attend mandatory lab meetings.
- Perform assigned lab duties to assist in the maintenance of stock reagents or the general operation of the lab, and various other duties or projects as assigned.
- PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, immunology, virology, or related fields.
- Experience with modern molecular biology, biochemistry, and tissue culture techniques.
- Basic Immunological concepts.
- Prior experience with live cell fluorescent imaging is helpful.
- Being proficient in Python, R, and/or command line applications is encouraged.
