Job Details

This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. We are currently looking for Pharmacy Technicians that are interested in working in an environment where you do not typically have to work nights or weekends, while delivering strong customer service in a closed-door pharmacy.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or until the job is complete

Responsibilities:

1. Labels products under Pharmacist's supervision, counts medications, stocks medication on shelves, and assists customers and clinics on the telephone.

2. Retrieves, counts and measures drugs.
3. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
4. Refers doctors' calls and customers' medical inquiries to Pharmacist.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

8. Strong interpersonal skills

9. Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively to improve customer satisfaction

10. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

11. Good analytical skills

12. Must have a sense of urgency and be able to flex with various tasks throughout the workday

13. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand or walk the majority of the workday

Education:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two year Associate's Degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires one (1) to two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; may be nationally certified. Must be unrestricted and either licensed or registered in the resident state as required.
