What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Act as the single point of contact for all Finance-related IT system implementations and digitalization initiatives.
- Represent the Finance function in cross-functional IT projects, providing subject matter expertise on accounting, controlling, and financial processes.
- Make project decisions on behalf of Finance leadership, ensuring alignment with department goals, compliance standards, and system requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance IT Business Partner and IT teams to shape project scopes, requirements, timelines, and testing strategies.
- Partner with Finance managers to translate business requirements into functional and technical system solutions.
- Monitor and manage project performance, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and system effectiveness post-launch.
- Drive process improvement through technology, identifying opportunities to enhance automation, integration, and data quality across financial operations.
- Lead change management and user adoption activities for Finance teams impacted by new system implementations.
- Ensure that Finance systems are aligned with regulatory and corporate compliance standards
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the future Scout Motors corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined and you are expected to relocate at such time. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.

- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with a strong foundation in Finance (Controlling, Accounting, or related) and demonstrated experience in IT project delivery.
- Strong understanding of finance principles, accounting cycles, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to lead or coordinate complex, cross-functional ERP and Finance system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across business units and presenting to executive leadership.
- Experience in the automotive industry or a similarly complex, global manufacturing environment is a plus.
