The University of Chattanooga Foundation Inc. (UC Foundation) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Senior Director of Advancement for the University of Tennessee Chattanooga’s Gary W. Rollins College of Business. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean, the Senior Director of Advancement is responsible for setting and executing fundraising strategy to support the priorities of the Gary W. Rollins College of Business.
This role will focus on securing philanthropic gifts of $25,000 or more from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fundraising: Develop and execute fundraising strategies to reach the philanthropic goals for the Gary W. Rollins College of Business. Build relationships and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective donors. Manage and steward 80-100 major prospects, with annual performance expectations related to visits, proposals, and dollars raised. Engage and maximize participation of board members, volunteers, and advocates in fundraising efforts. Administer special fundraising campaigns and projects.
Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with the Dean, faculty members, department heads and volunteers to identify priorities, implement fundraising strategies and engage donors.
