JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a part-time research summer intern.

The summer internship will be approximately 15 hours per week, for a project funded by the National Science Foundation is available for the summer of 2024 in the Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences at Penn State University. The summer intern will help analyze and visualize data from regional climate model simulations using the Weather Research and Forecasting model and air quality observations. A background in Python and working with large datasets is required for this position. The assistant works closely with a faculty member, postdoc, and graduate student researcher.
