Senior Accountant France

To assist in building and developing the French Finance Team.  

To successfully take over French holding companies’ accounting from KPMG during 2024.

To assist in implementation of new systems and processes in France

Activity

-        Work with the French Finance Manager to build and develop the French Finance Team

-        Assist in taking over the French companies’ accounting from KPMG (not EURL), maintaining the current standards and complying with French GAAP.

-        Produce monthly and annual financial accounting for Hary Participations, Diamond Bidco and other French holding cos according to timetable.

-        Participate in the upgrade of current Sage system and ensure new purchasing, FA and budgeting modules are effective for all French cos.

-        Participate in the annual external audit process and in developing processes and procedures for all French cos, within the Global framework.

-        Fixed asset recording and management for Hary Participations and other French companies (not EURL)

Requirements

KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)

1.    Successful migration of French cos accounting from KPMG

2.    Timeliness of financial accounting close

3.    Successful implementation of Sage in the French companies (except EURL)

4.    Successful implementation of new processes and procedures in France.

PROFILE REQUIRED

Professional Background

·       DCG from university or business school + audit (with 1 role after practice)

·       3 years experience in Finance Manager or equivalent role in France

Skills & Abilities

·       Very good Excel skills.

·       Experience with Sage X3 desirable.

·       Adaptable, able to work well in a growth environment.

·       Fluent French and ability to work at a professional level in English.
