About the role

Support the Office of Financial Aid in daily operations and student outreach activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general office assistance to Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs staff, such as filing and answering phones. 

  • Assist with document management.

  • Perform data entry, word processing, faxing, mailing, copying, and document imaging.

  • Put together information packets for class visits, workshops, etc.

  • Create Financial Aid marketing materials and content for social media.

  • Conduct student outreach.

This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/Federal Work Study

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.

  • Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses.

  • Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.

  • Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). 

  • Ability to work independently. 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Display a professional appearance and demeanor.

Salary: $15.00 per hour
