 Position Overview:

Directs and coordinates commercial sales and marketing activities of Shuttleworth Europe to obtain optimum revenue growth and efficiency by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Job Description:

  • Participates and communicates as a member of the senior management team in all aspects of Shuttleworth LLC including the development and implementation of corporate strategy.
    • Attends Annual ProMach Sales Leader Meeting
  • Directs and coordinates promotion of products manufactured, or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry.
  • Partners with Director of Operations to align forecasts and future pipeline opportunities.
  • Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
  • Promotes organization to industry, manufacturing, or trade associations.
    • Attends Pack Expo – occasionally

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages European Regional Sales Managers and commercial growth plans.
    • Primary accountability for revenue growth
      • Machine & Parts sales
    • Pipeline projections and revenue vs. territories
    • Revenue goal establishment
    • Sales coaching and development
    • New market targets and identification
    • Team sales support and closure
    • New hires/recruitment
    • Compensation and incentive model development
    • Team tracking/activity/CRM
    • Monthly report – forecast, summary of visits and projects
    • Trade events, conferences
    • Brand identity
    • New business development
    • Future markets
    • Annual Sales Planning and Budgeting
  • Directly supervises 3 to 4 Regional Sales & Application Managers as well as the Aftermarket department and takes responsibility for the integrity of these departments.
  • Manages the overall Parts Program in conjunction with the Service Manager to ensure customer satisfaction through customer machinery/equipment parts support. Achieve established performance objectives within the designated timeframe.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the commercial team and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
  • Interview, hire and train employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to travel
