Job Descriptions
As a Senior Manager - Trust & Estate Tax at BPB, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on the tax implications related to their estate planning goals, recommending alternative strategies, and ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations. You will be a key player in marketing, networking, and business development within your area of expertise, while staying ahead of potential changes in tax policy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on trust and estate tax matters, helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes and optimize their tax strategies.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to recommend effective tax strategies for trusts and estates.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects, meeting all deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail.
- Engage in marketing and networking activities to expand our client base and enhance our service offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact on assigned engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (master’s in accounting/Taxation or J.D. preferred).
- CPA or other relevant certification (preferred).
- 8+ years in trust and estate tax, with experience in supervising tax professionals and preparing/reviewing tax provisions.
- In-depth understanding of trust and estate tax standards and applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Superior organizational skills with a focus on detail and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
