Job Title: Regional/Local Marketing Intern

Job Overview and Accountabilities:

This internship opportunity is designed to gain professional work experience with the Marketing Coaching team, which is responsible for working side-by-side with CBA franchisees to drive leads to, and build awareness for, their CBA stores.

The Marketing Coaching team acts as strategic consultants: planning and executing local marketing strategies, aiding in achieving annual goals for reaching guests, driving car count, and introducing new marketing opportunities to franchisees. Our business is built on the foundation of loving your neighbor as yourself, and a key function of this role is ensuring that the Marketing Coaching team is showing servant leadership to our franchisees.

As the Marketing Coaching Intern, you will be exposed to the behind-the-scenes process that goes into marketing new and existing stores as well as preparing new franchisees for executing on the marketing and advertising tactics for their businesses at a local and regional level. We are looking for a fun, hardworking, positive person with energy, enthusiasm, and integrity who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities through the intern program may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare assets and data for Marketing Coaching Calls, including budgets, campaign performance, and creative pieces
  • Manage design requests, update social media listings & monitor digital pages for proper setup (local website, Google listing, Facebook)
  • Support on-time delivery of franchisee marketing requests, including strategy, creative, and messaging
  • Review and present opportunities for new training to provide to franchisees on local marketing best practices, including digital marketing, direct mail, PR, grassroots, email marketing, etc.
  • Create and outline recommended social media posts for new store openings
  • Participate in group aspects of CBA Summer Internship Program, including a capstone internship project and book club.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements

  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of general marketing best practices, including traditional advertising, digital marketing, direct mail, and grassroots marketing

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for tasks such as phone and office equipment usage
