Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Account Services Representative II, who will provide quality service to Members and team members, while performing a variety of Member requests, deposit processing, data file transfers, reports, and administrative duties for the Account Services department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Processing • Manage the Remit progression ensuring every aspect of the process is accurately completed in the set time.• Cross train to assist in processing of levies, as needed.• Maintain confidentiality when working on team member accounts.• Accurately maintain, update, and adjust Member accounts in a timely manner.• Balance cash vault daily and ensure accuracies are being met.• Accurately verify and process business courier deposits.• Manage the certificate maturity notification renewals and accurately process the Member’s instruction changes.• Oversee and fulfill a variety of document retrieval for legal requests and Member assistance.• Complete account file maintenance daily, including Member name record information corrections, and account adjustments.• Assist with the timely completion of Subpoenas and Search Warrants.• Ensure proper document imaging for permanent retrieval.• Manage the electronically transferred Member image files into Symitar and Synergy.
Administrative Tasks• Contact vendors to schedule repair and maintenance on Remit & check scanner and cash counter. Order parts and supplies as needed.• Process returned Visa Check cards and notate Member accounts accordingly.• Oversee and complete incoming Verifications of Deposits (VOD) and account confirmations within the set time requirements.• Provide monthly status to Account & Wires Services Manager.• Maintain proper storage according to retention guidelines.• Keep inventory of department supplies and order new items as needed.
Other Functions• Analyze processes and recommend changes for efficiency and service.• Cross train in other areas of the department allowing coverage with minimal knowledge gap.• Participate in departmental meetings to disseminate pertinent information and discuss methods and procedures.• Assist in Account Services training.

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently; self- motivated and resourceful.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and demands.
  • Working knowledge of modern office equipment and ability to make mathematical computations.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex written and verbal instructions.Highly detailed and accurate.
  • Ability to work successfully in a high volume, technically demanding job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work within time constraints and determine priorities.
  • Ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions.
