An amazing journey of opportunity with an international team lies ahead - join us!HomeToGo is looking for a Finance Manager (m/f/d) who will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all accounting-related processes for our Marketplace entities. You will work closely with the Group Accounting Team to ensure compliance with internal and external financial stakeholders while managing the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. You will play a key role in driving process improvements, increasing efficiency, and ensuring financial accuracy. In this role, you will act as a key interface for all accounting-related topics, including accounts receivable/payable, liquidity planning, and external reporting under HGB (German GAAP).

• Oversee and execute the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for specific entities in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of internal financial reporting for the CFO
• Analyze, improve, and implement accounting processes and operational guidelines to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Act as the primary point of contact for all accounting-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, investors, etc.)
• Contribute to the automation and optimization of accounting workflows, leveraging SAP S/4Hana
• Support tax compliance and adherence to financial regulations

• Have 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting under HGB, with expertise in general ledger accounting, German VAT and process improvements (IFRS knowledge is a plus)
• Have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvements
• Show a high level of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent time management and self-organization abilities
• Have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience in SAP S/4Hana as a plus
• Are fluent in both written and spoken English and German
