Description
The Department of Chemistry, Yale University, New Haven, CT invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level to commence as early as July 1, 2025. We seek creative teacher-scholars to teach courses and develop outstanding research programs in experimental physical chemistry, theoretical chemistry, or organic chemistry, all broadly defined. Qualifications
PhD or equivalent degree at time of hire.

Materials required for applications at all ranks include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a teaching philosophy statement. The cover letter should clearly identify the candidate’s self-identified division(s) of chemistry, e.g. organic chemistry. Applications at the rank of Assistant Professor should request three confidential letters of recommendation and provide a future research plan prefaced by a single-page summary, consisting of up to three proposals. Applicants for tenured positions are only asked to provide a research statement summarizing their current research program and funding sources.
