Job Summary

The Behavioral and Social Sciences Division has an anticipated opening for a full-time Psychology Instructor. This position will be responsible for full-time instruction in Psychology both online and in the classroom, maintaining office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of Blackboard for communication and feedback. This position’s primary teaching responsibilities will be located on the JCTC Carrollton campus

Job Duties:

Other duties include but are not limited to:
• Academic advising
• Course and curriculum development
• Internal and external community service
• Educational leadership and professional development

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in the Psychology or a master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in Psychology. Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience preferred. Experience in, and understanding of the importance of, working with students from diverse backgrounds required.
