Schedule: 4 Hours per Week. Weekdays

Requirement: Must be a Registered Dietitian with CDR

Position Details: works on school program menu compliance, nutritional guidance and education. 

Salary: $30.00-35.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time School Registered Dietitian to join our Canteen dining team at a rehab center for youth in Chicago, IL! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively present nutrition education across a variety of platforms for in-person education sessions, client meetings and school wellness events. 
• Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of child and adult nutrition guidelines as outlined by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and the American Medical Association
• Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of Canteen's company nutrition standards
• Assist in manager and team-member food allergy and nutrition training programs
• Maintain registered dietitian credentials and remain in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration by staying current with professional development portfolio CPEs. 

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Working knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions required
• Culinary and/or foodservice experience preferred
• Experience in public speaking, preferably to all age groups
