Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center is hiring a Lead Radiologic Technologist for our Cardiac Cath Lab in Silver Spring, MD. Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus. (*Current AHC employees not eligible - see below under additional details.)
We are seeking an experienced Lead Rad Tech who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an Lead Rad Tech you will:
• Assist with Electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker/defibrillator insertions, A-fib and SVT ablations, cardioversions, Watchman, and more.
• Ready supplies for EP procedures and assist by using sterile technique to prepare patients for procedures.
• Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude with patients and co-workers.
Qualifications include:
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
•High school graduate or GED equivalent
•Graduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography
•ARRT registered (RT) ; ARRT Advanced Certification; (QA) preferred, RCIS also accepted.
•State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist license
•Three years' experience in Diagnostic Radiology, supervisory experience preferred
Work Schedule:
30-40 hours per week with on call & holiday requirement.
*Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign - on bonus who are transferring from on e entity to another and/or transferring within their entity. Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not eligible for a sign - on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a position offering a sign - on bonus .
