Responsibilities
The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Team, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Supervision and oversight of staff to include production, quality, and training for both new and existing staff.
- Provides regular coaching and constructive feedback to staff.
- Management of workflow and Service Levels.
- Monitoring of daily production within the unit.
- Regular communication with agents.
- Responding to any escalated calls and/or e-mails
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Knowledge of the following three business lines preferred: Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Businessowners Policy
- Minimum of 4 years of underwriting experience or equivalent industry experience
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred, but will consider a combination of insurance experience and prior work history in lieu of supervisory experience
- Leadership ability
- Problem solving/analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient use of a computer
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Salary Range
$60,000.00-$100,000.00 USD
The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.
