Research Investigator, SeniorJob Description Summary
Designs, executes, and oversees advance experiments and assists the PI to develop and implement research programs. The responsibilities include date analyses and presentation, manuscript, grant, and protocol writing. This is a leadership role implying supervisory role and training responsibilities. Prior experience in working with transgenic mouse models, molecular biology, and immunology are required. Desired skills include advance multicolor flow cytometry, RNA modification and delivery tools, and expertise in sequencing technologies. The individual is expected to have strong communication skills and work well on collaborative projects and be adept in problem solving. Several years of postdoctoral level experience and beyond are preferred.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Perform data analysis and other aspects of quantitative and qualitative research as well as theoretical research
Review, edit, format, and write manuscripts for publication and of grant proposals
Assist with and often direct the design and implementation of original surveys
Perform data collection and management
Administer literature reviews
Present data at meetings and conferences
Supervise students and technicians
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy, and 5 to 7 years of postdoctoral experience is required.
Position continuation is contingent on continued funding.
