Manager, Finance

Univision’s Transformation team is seeking a Finance Manager to support our Streaming Service business. This position is an integral part of the Finance team for managing our original productions. We are seeking an analytical Manager with a variety of soft skills, industry knowledge, and a strong contributor to the business.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• FP&A monthly and quarterly forecasting, consolidation, and reporting
• Work closely with key members of the accounting and finance department on month and quarter end closing, ensuring proper supporting reconciliation, workpapers, and preparing variance explanation with key drivers
• Weekly and monthly cash Management forecasting & reporting
• Balance Sheet reviews and supporting schedules
• Bi-annual review and calculation of capitalized overhead
• Manage and reporting the overall development budget and pipeline
• Liaison between internal and external auditors
• Maintain workflows and involvement SOX compliance
• Collaborative as a cross functional partner with our legal and content team 
• Protecting company assets through cash management, policies, and procedures

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office program (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Preferred knowledge of Oracle applications (PBCS)
• Very strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Exercise sound judgement and solution focused
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Drive process improvement and initiatives that impact the function and business
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure and rapidly changing, less structured environment
• Ability to multi-task, self- motivated, meet deadlines, and maintain focus and confidentiality
• Strong relationship building ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish
• Has knowledge of and actively consumes Univision content, a plus
