Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility.<br/> This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland’s nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come.<br/>  <br/> General Job Description:<br/> The Construction Coordinator acts as a representative of the Construction functional group and serves as a link between Construction and the Engineering/Procurement teams. Ensures that construction requirements are made known to the project team in a timely manner and obtains construction responses to the needs of other members of the project team.  Early participation in the design development process by providing constructability input, with a focus on improving construction safety and quality, while seeking to optimize cost and schedule. <br/>  <br/>  Basic Qualifications<br/> •    Grade 27: bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university and extensive years of related professional experience.<br/> •    Must be Authorized to work in Poland.<br/> •    Must be able to obtain a site security badge.<br/> •    Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs which may require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, using fall protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE), walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, and maneuvering around very small and/or confined spaces.<br/>   <br/> ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:<br/> •    Develop constructability concepts and provide guidance to the design effort during the early phases of the project.<br/> •    Lead constructability reviews during the design process, with support from home office construction team.<br/> •    Work with the design teams to ensure requirements are incorporated into the design, layout and specifications.<br/> •    Participate in design development and suggest economical construction details to be incorporated into design drawings and specifications, utilizing lessons learnt from other projects and construction best practices.<br/> •    Monitor and track engineering actions items critical to support construction activities.<br/> •    Monitor the completeness of engineering and procurement deliverables to support the construction schedule.<br/> •    Support establishment of logistics strategy with design and procurement teams<br/> •    Support engineering and procurement schedule development<br/> •    Support Engineering, Procurement and Construction (required on-site date) schedule optimization.<br/> •    Represent construction in engineering and procurement schedule review meetings.<br/> •    Utilize the plant design model to identify construction sequencing.<br/> •    Drive consistency of engineering data to ensure compatibility with construction automation tools.<br/> •    Participate in office and field meetings with project team members and client personnel, as required, e.g., project review meetings.<br/> •    Identify potential problem areas or trends and works on total installed cost and continuous improvement issues.<br/> •    Maintain communications with the field organization and office project team members regarding significant problem areas and potential solutions.<br/> •    Perform and coordinate the construction review of engineering drawings and specifications.<br/> •    Coordinate the construction review of vendor drawings, shop fabrication details, erection procedures, on behalf of construction.</p> <p> </p> <p>Job Knowledge:<br/> •    Knowledge of Nuclear Power Co
